Winding Down with Naomi

Hmm...what is this all about, really? It's me jotting down ideas about things that go on in my life, and some occassional pictures of things I've seen and done.

So long

This post is a sad one. I'm saying goodbye to a few links today. Goodbye to Effie's world, goodbye to Jerrica's lime green land, goodbye to the teschke life and goodbye to The homefiles.

I know it is hard to keep up with blogging...notice, it's been a while since I blogged. But, I've decided that once a blog hasn't been updated for over a year, then it no longer gets to stay on the blog roll. (I am too tempted to wander over and look expectantly for new posts!) If any of these blog locations get up and running again I'd love to hear about it.

Another farewell... to the girls in the year ahead of me! Happy Graduation again. All the best in your new offices...with all the new changes. And well done on your video!! I'll share photos in the future!

It's a bleak day today. That made the sleeping in the day easier (worked last night) but otherwise, I'd prefer the sun.

I also said so long to a few plants of mine. I was silly and planted sunflowers in my window. (In a tiny pot...not recommended!) I think they will be happier at Allison's place. Also, my Christmas tree wasn't doing so hot indoors. I hope he finds the outdoors a better place.

These empty pots have me plotting...but I already have one new chandelier type plant to fill one of them!!

The interesting thing about good-byes is that you sometimes get to meet new people who also add delight to your life.

As for your plants, I do hope you find some that fit your "garden space" better. I think I may need to start some new plants, as the seeds I planted a few weeks ago haven't done anything.

Argh! I've done the unthinkable...I forgot to mention one of the goodbyes which probably set off the whole topic...I had to say goodbye to Fiona and her poochie recently. I will really miss them. There have been quite a few times recently when I've almost dialed that number, or driven down that street, wanting to catch them and go for a stroll or tea or something. Today is one of those days. It would be perfect for a walk. Are you up for one Fiona?
