Silly me

Today I was a little silly.

I had my very own easter egg hunt. Not the normal kind, nope, that might be predictable. So, to pack up my goodies from last weekend, I threw them in a hat (a beret) and stuffed that in my bag. The beret then took up residence next to my computer, and today I thought I'd eat an egg or two. I put my hand into the hat and came up with two eggs. I reached in, because I could see at least one more, and grabbed it. Then hand back in, just to check, and found one or two more. One last check- found another one. It was exciting. I didn't think I had that much chocolate left!! Mmmm...

Next fun/silly bit: I had peanut butter with supper. After supper I could still smell peanut butter, but licked my lips and thought I had gotten all that remained. (Notice a theme?) I later went to the bathroom to see that I had a gob of peanut butter on my chin. It's gone now.

Ah, what a day. Plans for the weekend?

The drive home

Hello all!

I made it back safely to Ottawa. I'm glad to be back. It was a great drive, the roads were amazing, and I was able to see a few things which made my day.

#1- A rooftop which proclaims "Jesus Is Alive" (to which I responded Happy Easter to you too!!)
#2- An Easter Moose. (A large moose statue, which is ever present in one of the towns through which I drive, with a pair of large pink bunny ears on his head- and no, they didn't cover the antlers entirely!) I burst out laughing to that one!
#3- Friendly truck/bus drivers- blinking lights back and forth to each other in greeting as they drove along the Trans Canada.

Today was a good day. I'm tired though, and have a commute ahead of me. As such, I think I will sign off, and hopefully get around to playing with photos to share in the next day or too! (Including Easter photos!)

A brief update

So, I'm lazy. I didn't make it through all my photos. (It really IS a daunting process!) This weekend I did do some studying, some doggie walking, some vegging and some book hunting. (More about that when my fun parcels arrive!)

I did make it through the flights TO Australia (the photos I took, at least) and thought you might enjoy a couple of them.

New news

Well, I suppose it could be old to some of you. I'm moving East. For the beginning of July. Such fun! Moncton.

Also- today was the perfect day for playing out of doors, with snow. No, I didn't clobber people with snowballs (people were smart enough NOT to walk anywhere out of doors with me today!), but I did make this!
