Winding Down with Naomi

Hmm...what is this all about, really? It's me jotting down ideas about things that go on in my life, and some occassional pictures of things I've seen and done.

It's snowing

Good morning one and all.

So happy to be sharing a lovely snowy Monday morning with you. It wasn't snowing when I woke up, but with the first thing I heard on the radio being :"no school today", I knew something was up. Yes, they cancelled school on the predicted snow- which was to start at noon. It started earlier. I had freezing rain pelting me as I walked in from the car. (My cheeks were getting sore from that!), and as I got to the building the precipitation changed to something softer and whiter and fluffier.

I don't mind snow. I'm just ready to be done with it for now. It's spring, isn't it? The calendar says it is, the robin I saw on Friday says it is. The weekend weather (which was gorgeous! Sunny and ~10 C) says it is. BC says it is. (Well...they can be a bit ahead of us out here, I've heard!)

Pictures...yes, they are coming. They are ready, but I don't have them with me at the moment. I may even include some from the weekend if they turned out alright!

I hope you're enjoying the end of March. I'm really looking forward to April- even though it could be a soggy month, it usually has beautiful spring flowers too. Also Easter is coming. I'm looking forward to celebrating again the resurrection of our Lord.

Cheers! *Throws a snowball at you*

Is that spring in the air?

HI!

I'm back in Moncton, have been for over a week now. I had hoped to post some pictures, so I was holding off posting, but here I am. Forced into it by a loving sister. (teehee).

It's gorgeous out today. It's not warm (only 2 - 3C) but the sky is clear and the sun is shining. It feels like spring! If I were little, today would be the sort of day where I would join my sisters skipping rope on the end of the driveway.

My little niece Katrina is getting good with her imagination. She tells stories now, and they are fun to listen to.

My little niece further West is a cutie too...I love the pictures that Kelly and Alex share of her. She's being adventurous too!

I saw some spring while out West in BC- flowers were in full bloom in some spots. It made coming back to the 1.5 + meter snowbanks difficult, but it had to be done.

Tonight I'm going bowling with some of the youth from church. I think I've inadvertently become a youth leader!

Anything else I can share with you in two lines or less? I may be seeing Peter tomorrow, we'll have to wait and see. He's been having fun with 3D videos...check them out.

Slippery trail
. It's cool in high def too!

I'll be chatting with you more later. Got to go and bathe a fish...heehee

Good day

Greetings from BC!

It's a more typical BC day here today- the feel of rain is in the air and the snow is gone.

I'm really enjoying my trip with Rebecca. We've been busy doing lots of things. More on that when I have my camera connected to computers again!

Lots of dress shopping, no purchases yet though. I enjoyed the trip to Seattle yesterday.

Bec has choir practrice pre church shortly, so I won't stay on long. I wish you all well.

Mountains are beautiful, don't you know?
